formal attire & Etiquette

Rider attire

  • Black jacket, with black buttons Tan breeches

  • Tall black leather riding boots (preferably dress)

  • White collared shirt with neckline

  • White stock tie with ends tucked securely inside jacket

  • Gold or silver stock pin

  • Yellow or tattersall vest (optional)

  • Tan leather, white or yellow string gloves

  • Helmets are required 

Etiquette

  • Always introduce yourself to the secretary and/or huntsmen and MFH
  • Place a red ribbon in your horse's tail if they are known to kick and ride in the back of the field 

Adhering to traditional dress code is a mark of respect for the hounds, the landowners, and the heritage of Longreen Foxhounds.
